We're very excited to launch our a new name and logo for our U5-U7 Develpmental Program. Roadrunner University or Roadrunner U. It's a program for Higher Learning of soccer. To launch the program, all registered developmental players this fall will receive a new training t-shirt with our new logo at no extra charge.
For games, the new uniform you ordered for fall will reflect the new logo on dri-fit yellow and grey game shirts. (If you already have a kit from last year, you can just order the new shirts for approx $20 and use your old shorts and socks)
We have been running our developmental program for the past three years as we saw a need to start players out early on doing the most basic needs along with getting players used to being part of a proper training session. Since we began, the fruits of our efforts have paid off ten fold. There are MANY players that began playing in our developmental program that are visibly further ahead than most of the players coming directly from rec. soccer.
From a financial stand point, our club is willing to make the investment to see that this program is properly staffed, even though it has meant that we lose money, as we know the long term results are players that are better prepared to play at a higher level and more likely to make the RR's their home for the long term.
