Grace Stevenson U15
Grace Stevenson is a positive force both on and off the soccer field. She has been cheering her team on in the position of goalie since she was 8 years old. Off the field, she is a straight A student who is involved in many extra curricular activities. Through her church, she has been involved in her youth group's many mission trips and service projects. She was asked to be a junior leader during a middle school mission trip to the inner city, worked at many food pantries in the area, and has been a vacation bible school student leader for several years. Grace also plays the guitar and maintains a wonderful relationship with her 8-year-old sister. Not to state the obvious but she is an all around great person!!
Please congratulate Grace on this deserving recognition and let her know that we are proud to have such a wonderful young person represent our club.
Tony Benish U14
Tony Benish has been playing with RR since he was 9 years old. Both on and off the field, Tony puts forth his best efforts. When not playing soccer, Tony continually maintains his straight A's, plays guitar, and is an active member of KEN. The Kids Equipment Network is an organization that maintains wheelchairs and adaptive equipment for children. He helps clean the equipment and interacts with the kids who are waiting. Tony has also been recognized for his leadership at school, earning the Christian Leadership Award. He is also the big brother of two siblings and does his best to be a positive leader with them as well. He represents himself, his family, and Roadrunners in a positive manner both on and off the field!
We are fortunate to have Tony within the Roadrunner family and please give him a hearty well-deserved congratulations!
Player of the Month
Roadrunners Soccer Club strives to build players of character that learn life lessons, respect, and commitment. Our training is not only limited to on field success but also to help mold better people and citizens of the community. In order to encourage our players to maintain this frame of mind, while demonstrating true sportsmanship, every month RRSC hopes to get nominations and distribute a Player of the Month award for one male and one female. Nomination of award recipients shall not be limited to soccer. Player nominees should incorporate all aspects of citizenship, academic accomplishment, and any other notable trait or characteristic exemplifying the themes noted above. The player will receive an official award, Facebook announcement, and recognized on the RRSC website. Link to player of the month nomination form.
