Many sincere thanks to those that generously donated to fulfill the wishes for many DG58 students and those in need at the Daybreak Center. The amount of gifts and supplies was awesome. Our Club is about much more than soccer. Generosity is something that players and families alike can be proud of! Below is a letter from a DG58 employee regarding the donations we delivered to their school.

 

 

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you for everything that was donated to make some students at our school have a special Christmas who otherwise would not have. 

I wish I could have taken pictures of their faces when opening the gifts or when they came to report to me regarding the gifts they opened at home. It made me cry!! (Not that that says much, because I cry all the time:) ) 

I'm SO lucky to work in Downers Grove amongst the MOST supportive community. Our kids are so lucky as well. Thank you for all you do. You really all truly made a difference.
