Over 570 teams started, but only 14 are left to compete in this weekend's culmination of Illinois Youth Soccer's top fall tournaments; the Illinois State Cup and the Sports Authority Presidents Cup. Those remaining teams will fiercely compete to win one of 4 State Cup or 3 Presidents Cup titles on the line.Matches will be held at the Techny Park in Northbrook

The Illinois State Cup is the most prestigious tournament in Illinois and the official state championship tournament of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. Illinois State Cup champions advance to the 2016 US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships, June 24-29 in Westfield, IN. Regional champions qualify for the US Youth Soccer National Championship Finals. The national finals are a culmination of a year-long series of competitions at the state and regional levels providing approximately 185,000 players on 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer’s 55 State Associations to compete against the best teams in the nation. The Illinois State Cup is one of the largest State Cup competitions in the United States.
The Sports Authority Presidents Cup is part of the US Youth Soccer President Cup series which provides teams in the under 13 – 17 age groups an alternative to the State Cup and US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. It offers an additional opportunity for top teams to advance and compete against teams from across the country in a regional and national competition. Think of it as the UEFA Europa League to the UEFA Champions League
Illinois Youth Soccer hosts one of the country's largest Presidents Cup competitions and since its inception in 2010, four Illinois teams have won National Presidents Cup titles and 15 Region II titles.
Sports Authority Presidents Cup champions advance to the 2016 US Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup, June 16 - 20 in Westfield, IN with Regional champions advancing to the National Presidents Cup finals.
