Giant thanks to all! Read more..

We wanted to send you all a heartfelt thank you for participating in the DG58 Gift giving program. With your help we were able to provide gifts for over 130 students in need, and in some cases where necessary, entire families.

We were overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness we witnessed from all of you!
A special thank you goes out to Carl Turk for running the program and to our gift wrappers and delivery elves (Lori, Laura, Becky, Lisa, Shannon, and Cathy). The countless hours spent was so appreciated.

On Dec 15th, the packages were delivered to all of the schools and John Hannan delivered 9 bags of coats to Daybreak Shelter.

Your part in helping others have a joyful Christmas is indeed a beautiful thing.

Very proud to be part of a Club that is about more than just soccer!

HOLIDAY GIVING

We are about to embark on our 5th annual giving program in affiliation with families and/or children in need with DG58. This program has grown in scope over the past two years. We are trying to get ahead of the curve this year and are providing a generic sign-up by age and gender as well as specific requests that we have received to date.

HOLIDAY GIVING SIGN UP SHEET

You can sign up now and buy age appropriate gifts according to age and gender or sign up for a specific child/adult. Mark your purchase(s) on the sign-up and we will coordinate matching up the items appropriately. Our goal is to provide 2-3 gifts per child and or family. For the non shoppers, a gift cards sign up is available and are always appreciated -usually used to buy winter clothing. You can also consider having your team buy for a family.

Please contact Carl Turk at turkcarl@hotmail.com with any specific questions. Carl will be coordinating the efforts on Roadrunners behalf. We will provide a box at Westmont Yard beginning November 30th to collect purchased items.

Our last collection day at WY will be December 14th or gifts can be dropped off at Carl's front porch by December 15th (if dropping at Carl's please email him ahead of time and he will shoot you his address). PLEASE provide an appropriate size gift bag and we will package them and be sure to clearly mark for whom the gift is intended.

There is an area to sign up to help sort and bag gifts on the 14th and 15th of December. We will also need a couple of volunteers to assist in delivering items to area elementary schools on December 16th.
