Time for the Annual C3 Fleece Blanket Drive!
Roadrunner Players Connor Podjasek and Jack Daly presenting C3 to DGS High School
This Blanket drive is run by our own Roadrunner player, Connor Podjasek, please consider contributing to the cause!
For those of you that haven’t heard of our group, we are a group of kids that came together with the hope of bringing care, comfort and compassion to cancer patients that are undergoing chemotherapy treatments at various facilities. We decided to accomplish this through providing them with fleece blankets that are soft, warm and handmade. Last year, through generous donations, we were able to provide blankets to over 140 patients at four different facilities.
This year we would like to beat that number and WE NEED YOUR HELP to do it!
Donations can be Completed Fleece Blankets, Fleece Material (two 1 ¾ yard pieces for each blanket), or JoAnn Fabric Gift Cards that can be purchased through
Amazon or JoAnn.com and sent electronically to email@example.com.
Blankets, fleece or plastic gift cards can be dropped off at 4803 Highland Ave in Downers Grove starting November 13th. Please drop on the front porch facing Highland Ave, porch is open so no need to knock, there will be a box marked "Blanket Drive"
Our annual drive has begun, and we ask that donations be received by 11/19.
Our annual deliveries to the patients begin the week of Thanksgiving.
